11.27.08 UPDATE: SUSPECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED

In the most recent of our nations most horrific unsolved mysteries, a Little Rock, Arkansas television news anchor was savagely beaten and stabbed earlier this week.  The 26-year-old woman, Anne Pressley, succumb to her injuries and passed away Saturday in a local hospital.

Pressley’s mother, visiting from South Carolina, found her in her room a half-hour before she was to appear on her station’s morning program.  She was found lying on her bed bleeding profusely from her wounds.  The attacker primarily focused on Pressley’s upper body and facial area.  Almost every bone in her face was broken and she also sustained massive brain swelling.  Pressley with her family at her side.

Motive of the attack is not known, but it could have been a robbery as her purse is missing, but police have not found any signs of forced entry to her home.  Police are also questioning friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Pressley was a reporter and morning anchor at KATV in Little Rock.  She has a brief resume as an actress as well, appearing as a sorority girl in soap opera As The World Turns.  Her latest on-screen feature was in Oliver Stone’s political film, W.  Pressley played republican commentator Ann Coulter.  The film’s release came just two days before she was attacked.

Not for nothin’, but all deaths are usually senseless and tragic, but this one stands out if for anything the celebrity status attained by Pressley.  It’s hard to rely on the intent of robbery being the motive, because robbery normally implies the threat of violence and victims are robberies do not usually become murder victims.  We can only hope that an investigation reveals unusual activity in her daily routine.  If there’s evidence to suggest that she was stalked, then there’s a good chance that she knew the perpetrator.

  1. There is a spiritual secret here. Look closely at her first name, Anne, and her maiden name, which was Cannaday. That last name strongly resembles the Biblical name of Canaan. Her first name also contains three letters from Canaan’s name. None of it is by coincidence. Proper names are governed by Divine Law under 1 Samuel 25:25, “For as their name is: So are they!” This murder victim’s name reveals her to have been a fallen angel. And the manner of her death is also consistent with how fallen angels in human form often die.

  2. Has anyone considered the neighbor who stated that she never had a male visitor, that has been in more than one interview, I had a gut feeling from the start. The dogs, no breakin, the face being bashed, i don’t know.

  3. My heart goes out to her family and freinds…I hope in the days to come they can find peace and understanding. Their daughter was beautiful and full of life, no one has the right to harm another human may she rest in peace! Too her Television family may you find peace and understanding too.

  4. my dearest symphathies to your family members’ deaths. But rest assured that they have found their way to the presence of Christ, and now rest in eternal peace in the light of God’s love. Once they had arrived in Heaven, they will be glorified and perfect, their hearts, attitudes, and thoughts completely in agreement with God. Their early deaths are but the work of God displayed, for He is sovereign. God allows some to suffer to bring glory to His name and others not to suffer for the same reason. It is His sovereign will that determines each circumstance. No suffering is without a purpose in the plan of God, even though we as finite humans may not see that purpose clearly. Comfort yourself to know that death is not the end for those who believe. Those who know Jesus as Savior will have eternal life (John 10:28). God has prepared a new home for us where there will be no more death, tears or pain (Revelation 21:1-4).

  5. The attacker was a nigger. He was arrested after using her credit cards at a gas station. Post a follow up on that or does that not fit your progressive narative?
